2020 is quite the year isn't it?
I just wanted to share an update as England goes back into another lockdown. There are a lot of differences this time round and, for us, the biggest one is that we're continuing to operate with a full team and are actively recruiting for a wide variety of roles with great clients. We're recruiting now in all of the sectors we serve and that is a really positive difference.
The Recruitment Geeks is an agency that works with companies right across the UK and that means that we are able to gauge the trends across different regions and sectors. Back in March, activity literally stopped overnight but this time round, it's quite the opposite (we've even been briefed on new vacancies this week). Fingers crossed that this remains the case and we can continue to provide the support for job seekers and companies that is so needed right now.
Here are just some of the exciting opportunities we're working on today:
We're currently looking for a Live Operations Manager to join a technology company in Plymouth. This is a challenging role that has the potential to really expand and grow with the right person. This client is expanding their reach and no two days are ever the same.
We're also recruiting for a Network and Security Engineer for a client in Ireland. This role requires an experienced engineer who has a great understanding and can provide onsite and remote solutions to a large team. You'll need an excellent phone manner and great knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, the security risks and the controls needed to mitigate them. This isn't a remote role though, so you will need to be based in Northern Ireland or open to relocation. In return, the salary offered is extremely attractive and there is potential for further development in your career.
If either of these roles sound like a good fit for you, send your CV to me directly: email@example.com
Manchester is our next destination. We're working with a large client who are seeking to expand their Agile coaching team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the capacity to work with multiple teams, helping them all to overcome the different challenges they face in their own projects. If you are an experienced Project Manager or Scrum Master who likes variety and wants to see others succeed, this is a role that may be right for you. It's remote for now, but you will need to be able to travel to Manchester frequently once the current situation resolves.
The final role I wanted to highlight today is in Bristol. We're looking for an IT Technician to join an IT services company that works with a range of clients across the region. This is a role providing support to small, medium and large organisations and no two days are ever going to be the same. You would be joining an organisation that has seen strong growth over the last few years and would have the opportunity to expand your own knowledge and continue your training. Ideally, you would be comfortable working with both Windows and Apple Networks, so some knowledge of Apple systems would be an advantage for you.
We're also seeing strong recruitment activity in the Fire Safety and accountancy sectors, so I invite you to check out all of our vacancies which you can find listed on our jobs page.
